Frequently Asked QuestionsHow much does it cost?
We offer different levels of service. For non-qualified maintenance jobs carried out they are billed according to the individual work done or pre arranged. For all qualified jobs that need to be carried out we search for competitive quotes before reporting back to our customers. View our price list.

I have a second home in Suffolk, how would your services benefit me?
Our key holding and property maintenance hands off services would allow you to enjoy your second home without the bother of arranging maintenance internally and externally. Also we can make the property look occupied and we could give it a Spring clean before you arrive.

I don't live near my holiday property, can I ring you short notice whenever I want a check done for example after a storm?
Short notice/same day checks are provided within 24 hours of contact or you can have a pre arranged inspection.

Can I arrange regular scheduled checks on my holiday cottage?
Yes we do do regular checks, these are a good idea, we can make sure the property is in good repair and post isn't piling up, basically making your property look inhabited.

How often will I be billed?
We bill our customers on a monthly basis.

If needed do you provide spare linen for my cottage changeover?
If spare or extra linen is required we can hire in extra sets, most holiday cottage owners have at least 2/3 sets of linen for their holiday cottage which we clean, iron and return for the next changeover.

I want you to hold the key to my holiday cottage and carry out regular maintenance/security checks, if there is a maintenance issue, at want point do you contact me?
All costs up to the value of £20 are automatically carried out (eg changing light bulbs/any minor repair). Owners are notified for larger maintenance issues.

How do you contact me?
Initially we will phone you e-mail backup and finally in writing. Invoices and maintenance reports will be sent by e-mail unless a paper copy is arranged in advance.

When you administer a changeover for my holiday cottage what is included in the welcome pack?
The gift in the welcome pack would either be a box of luxury chocolates or a bottle of wine if preferred. The amenity items cover the minor essentials, washing up liquid, soap, j clothe, refuse sacks tea, coffee and milk. We are flexible on what is included in the packs, both amenity and gift pack items can be changed to meet your preferences.

If any major work needs to be carried out on my property, can you oversee it?
Yes, we seek competitive quotes from reliable local trades people, our charge for this is 10% on top.

If I have arranged a 'meet & greet' service for my guests, what you do if they are delayed?
As soon as you know of any possible delay, ring our office or caretaker direct to re-arrange a later meeting or agree convenient solution.

Do you provide gardening services?
Yes we do, we can arrange for gardens to be looked after with regular maintenance including keeping all planters filled with seasonal plants if required.

How secure is your key holding services?
We pride ourselves on being very secure but we cannot publicise our security systems completely, keys are held in a safe with no property identification on each key.
